Situated in the heart of the historic walled city of Lucca, this apartment sits just 100 metres from the birth place and residence of Giacomo Puccini, the famous composer.
The apartment was completely renovated and re-designed. The main priority here was to allow the maximum amount of natural light to flood into the heart of the apartment, giving a light and airy feel. This was enhanced by the clever use of “borrowed” light from the bedrooms into the central corridor. The use of glass walls in the en-suites enabled more natural light to flow through into the bathrooms.
The open plan kitchen / dining / living area is expressly modern with sharp detailing and bright white walls that contrast beautifully with the existing timber beams and cotto tile soffit.
The result of careful and inspired design: a minimalist, bright and modern interior, within a traditional Tuscan structure, giving the owner the very best of both worlds.
